緑茶（りょくちゃ、拼音: lǜchá）は、チャノキの葉から作った茶のうち、摘み取った茶葉を加熱処理して茶葉中の酵素反応(茶業界では「発酵」と呼ばれる)を妨げたもの。もしくはそれに湯を注ぎ、成分を抽出した飲料のこと。
中国は全世界の緑茶の約75パーセントを供給する主要生産国である[1]。中国国内で生産される茶類のうち60パーセント以上を緑茶類が占め、多くの人々が緑茶を常飲している[2]。また、日本茶（煎茶、ほうじ茶、抹茶など）はその多くが緑茶であり、緑茶は日本でもっとも良く飲まれている茶である[3]。
緑茶の歴史
日本のお茶栽培は、1191年に臨済宗の開祖栄西禅師が長崎県平戸市千光寺と佐賀県脊振山（現・吉野ヶ里町）の山腹に宋時代の中国から持ち帰った種をまいたのが始まり。茶栽培を始めたのは佐賀県の旧・東脊振村の霊仙寺で、明恵が茶園をつくって栽培した粉末状の茶「抹茶」である。現代で日常的によく飲まれる「煎茶」は、江戸時代にそれまでの茶の製法が劇的に変化し、改良されてできたものになる。江戸時代には各地で喫茶の習慣が庶民にも広まったが、これは、京都で日本初の喫茶店「遊仙亭」を開いて庶民に煎茶を広めた「煎茶道の祖」と称されている佐賀県出身の売茶翁の功績が大きいといわれている。
医薬的効果
緑茶は成人が適切な量を飲む分には安全であるが、含まれるカフェインの作用により不眠、不安、いらだち、胃腸不良、吐き気などを起こしえる[15][16]。さらに少量のビタミンKを含むため、ワルファリン服用者は注意が必要である[17][18]。
またある種のがんについて、緑茶はそれを予防し進行を遅らせる効果があるであろう（may help）とアメリカ国立補完統合衛生センターは述べていた[17][18]が、現在はヒトに対するがんの研究で一貫した結果を得られなかったとしている[15][16]。
試験では、体重減量のエビデンスがあるとは確認できなかった[15][16][19]。
緑茶には1杯当たり約90mgのポリフェノール（カテキン類）が含まれており、活性酵素によりダメージから体を守る。そして、ポリフェノール摂取量が増えるとシミも抑えられる[20]。
また、カテキン類には高い吸着性があり、菌やウィルスに吸着して抑え込む働きがある。歯周病を改善したり、お茶うがいでインフルエンザ発症が抑えられたという報告もある[20]。
緑茶を飲用する習慣のある地域とそうではない地域では新型コロナウイルス(スパイクタンパク質)の感染率に有意な差がある事が判明しており、緑茶に含まれるエピガロカテキンガレート(EGCG)がウイルス表面の突起(スパイクタンパク質)と結合することにより感染力を弱める効果がある事が判明している[21][22][23]。
カテキン類は、緑茶を飲んで1～2時間後に血中で濃度がピークになるが、4時間後には血中濃度は低下してしまう。抗酸化力をキープするためには2～3時間ごとにこまめに飲む必要がある[20]。
水出し緑茶ならストレスを軽減する効果をもつテアニンや免疫細胞を活性化するエピガロカテキンを効率よく摂取できる。お湯で入れたお茶にはカフェインや渋みの強いカテキンが多く含まれ、これらの効果を弱めてしまう[24]。
有効性
8件のランダム化比較試験 (RCT) のメタアナリシスから、300mgのEGCGのみでエネルギー代謝の効率を高める可能性がある[2]。緑茶の飲用による減量効果は、これに含まれる1日あたり100-460mgのEGCGと関連しているが、またカフェインの量がこの効果の重要な要因であった[3]。17件のRCTから、107-856mgのEDCGで低密度リポタンパク質コレステロール (LDL-C) を低下させた[4]。
緑茶を飲用する習慣のある地域とそうではない地域では新型コロナウイルスの感染率に有意な差がある事が判明しており、緑茶に含まれるエピガロカテキンガレート(EGCG)がウイルス表面の突起と結合することにより感染力を弱める効果がある事が判明している[5][6][7]。
基礎研究
EGCGは複数の基礎研究において試験管内の乳がん細胞の増殖を妨害している[8]。
緑茶中のEGCGが、ヒト免疫不全ウイルス (HIV) 感染の治療において有益であるとの研究がある。EGCGは、実験室においてAIDS関連の認知症と関連しているプラークを減少させ、gp120の働きを阻害した[9][10][11]。しかし、ヒトでの臨床試験では実証されておらず、緑茶がHIV感染を治療あるいは予防することを示してはいない。しかし、副作用と関係がない限りは、ウイルス量の制御を助ける可能性がある。これらの研究で使用されているEGCGの濃度は、実際に飲まれる緑茶では到達することが出来ない。EGCGとHIVに関するさらなる研究が進行中である[12]。
米ジョージア医科大学での基礎研究によると、EGCGはシェーグレン症候群を含むある種の自己免疫疾患に対して予防効果があるのではないかとされている[13][14]。マウスモデルによる研究結果から、（例えば緑茶中の）EGCGは、全身性炎症に関与しているTNF-αに対する人体の防御機構を活性化することが示唆された[15][要検証]。
副作用
2018年の副作用についてのレビューでは、緑茶製剤の安全性を調査したヒト試験からは最も多いのは胃腸炎、まれに肝毒性を示す[16]。緑茶カテキンには発がん性はないという明確な証拠があり、緑茶消費量とがんリスクとの関連を示すヒトでの疫学研究はない[16]。
EGCGは、緑茶抽出物の安全な摂取量を導きだす指標とできる可能性があり、健康な成人でサプリメントでは日にEDCGが800mgを超えると肝臓の副作用を示し、676mgでは安全で、肝機能が正常でない人の個人差を考えると338mgであり、別のレビューは300mgを提案している[16]。しかし飲料の形では、1日704mgでも安全である[16]。
薬物相互作用
南カリフォルニア大学でのマウスモデルを用いた最近の研究で、緑茶および緑茶抽出物 (green tea extract, GTE) と一般的に関連付けられている多種多様の恩恵と対照的に、EGCGが抗がん剤ボルテゾミブに結合し、顕著にバイオアベイラビリティを低下させ、治療効果を無くしてしまうことが明らかにされた[17]。この研究を指揮したSchönthal博士は、多発性骨髄腫およびマントル細胞リンパ腫の治療中の患者に対しては、緑茶および緑茶抽出物製品の摂取は強く禁忌とすべきとしている[17]。
安全性
高濃度では肝細胞ミトコンドリアでのROSの発生を大幅に増やすという報告があり、10μmol/L以上は危険としている[18]。
亜鉛（あえん、英: zinc、羅: zincum）は、原子番号30の金属元素。元素記号は Zn。亜鉛族元素の一つ。安定な結晶構造は、六方最密充填構造 (HCP) の金属。必須ミネラル（無機質）16種の一つ。
亜鉛は少なくとも紀元前4000年から銅との合金である黄銅（真鍮）として用いられて来た。古代ギリシア人はキプロス産の亜鉛化合物について記述している。ローマ征服前のダキア人（現在のルーマニア）は紀元前から金属亜鉛精錬技術に通じていた。ダキア以前に金属亜鉛を得た民族は見つかっていない。ダキア以外のヨーロッパで金属亜鉛を精錬するようになったのは産業革命が始まってからである。
インドでもダキア人とは独立に亜鉛精錬技術を発見し、12世紀にはウールを還元剤として金属亜鉛を得ていた。12世紀から16世紀までに100万トン以上の亜鉛を製造したと考えられている。インドの技術はやがて中国に渡り、16世紀には中国でも亜鉛生産が始まっている。
ヨーロッパ人として金属亜鉛に初めて接したのはポルトガル人だった。ポルトガル人は亜鉛の重要性に気づいておらず、ポルトガル商船を拿捕したオランダ人によってヨーロッパに金属亜鉛が持ち込まれた。1509年にニュルンベルクのエベナーが初めて欧州での金属亜鉛の生産をはじめた。1620年にはヨーロッパで東洋起源の金属亜鉛の販売が始まった。1737年に、中国から亜鉛精錬技術がイギリスに伝わる。1743年、ヨーロッパ初の亜鉛工場が港湾都市ブリストルに建設された。年間生産量は200トンである。同年スウェーデン人のアントン・フォン・シュワープが炭酸亜鉛から亜鉛を蒸留分離することに成功、硫化亜鉛からも抽出できた。これはイギリス人の製法とは独立である。1746年、ドイツ人アンドレアス・マルクグラーフは他の2国とは独立に金属亜鉛を得る。コークスと酸化亜鉛を加熱する際、空気を断つことが成功につながった。結局、マルクグラーフの手法が金属亜鉛の大規模生産へとつながっていく。このため、マルクグラーフこそが亜鉛の発見者であると位置づけられることがある。1798年に水平レトルト精錬法という、耐火性容器に石炭と亜鉛鉱石を入れて加熱し、亜鉛を蒸留精錬する方法による精錬工場が建設された[34]。
従来、日本では真鍮は江戸時代になって普及したと考えられていた。しかし、12世紀の平安時代、鳥羽上皇の皇后、美福門院が高野山に奉納した「紺紙金字一切経」に、真鍮が大量に使われていることが判明し、すでにこの時代には日本でも真鍮が使われていたようである[35][36]。
1850年代には米国のヒルツが亜鉛生産を開始した。1881年にフランスのルトランジュが電解法を発明した[34]。
日本国内における金属亜鉛の製錬は1889年（明治22年）に黒鉱の処理から開始された。蒸留亜鉛が商業ベースで生産され、電気亜鉛の生産が神岡鉱山で開始されたのは共に1910年（明治43年）頃である[2]。1910年代になると世界各地で亜鉛の電解精錬がはじまった[34]。

Paracelsianism is the early modern medical movement inspired by the study of his works.[17]
He was probably the first to give the element zinc (zincum) its modern name,[53][54] in about 1526, likely based on the sharp pointed appearance of its crystals after smelting (zinke translating to "pointed" in German). Paracelsus invented chemical therapy, chemical urinalysis, and suggested a biochemical theory of digestion.[32] Paracelsus used chemistry and chemical analogies in his teachings to medical students and to the medical establishment, many of whom found them objectionable.[55]
Italian doctor Luigi Galvani discovered in 1780 that connecting the spinal cord of a freshly dissected frog to an iron rail attached by a brass hook caused the frog's leg to twitch.[87] He incorrectly thought he had discovered an ability of nerves and muscles to create electricity and called the effect "animal electricity".[88] The galvanic cell and the process of galvanization were both named for Luigi Galvani, and his discoveries paved the way for electrical batteries, galvanization, and cathodic protection.[88]
Galvani's friend, Alessandro Volta, continued researching the effect and invented the Voltaic pile in 1800.[87] Volta's pile consisted of a stack of simplified galvanic cells, each being one plate of copper and one of zinc connected by an electrolyte. By stacking these units in series, the Voltaic pile (or "battery") as a whole had a higher voltage, which could be used more easily than single cells. Electricity is produced because the Volta potential between the two metal plates makes electrons flow from the zinc to the copper and corrode the zinc.[87]
The voltaic pile was the first electrical battery that could continuously provide an electric current to a circuit. It was invented by Italian physicist Alessandro Volta, who published his experiments in 1799. The voltaic pile then enabled a rapid series of other discoveries including the electrical decomposition (electrolysis) of water into oxygen and hydrogen by William Nicholson and Anthony Carlisle (1800) and the discovery or isolation of the chemical elements sodium (1807), potassium (1807), calcium (1808), boron (1808), barium (1808), strontium (1808), and magnesium (1808) by Humphry Davy.[1][2]
The entire 19th-century electrical industry was powered by batteries related to Volta's (e.g. the Daniell cell and Grove cell) until the advent of the dynamo (the electrical generator) in the 1870s.
Volta's invention was built on Luigi Galvani's 1780s discovery of how a circuit of two metals and a frog's leg can cause the frog's leg to respond. Volta demonstrated in 1794 that when two metals and brine-soaked cloth or cardboard are arranged in a circuit they produce an electric current. In 1800, Volta stacked several pairs of alternating copper (or silver) and zinc discs (electrodes) separated by cloth or cardboard soaked in brine to increase the total electromotive force.[3] When the top and bottom contacts were connected by a wire, an electric current flowed through the voltaic pile and the connecting wire.
The name of the metal was probably first documented by Paracelsus, a Swiss-born German alchemist, who referred to the metal as "zincum" or "zinken" in his book Liber Mineralium II, in the 16th century.[70][72] The word is probably derived from the German zinke, and supposedly meant "tooth-like, pointed or jagged" (metallic zinc crystals have a needle-like appearance).[73] Zink could also imply "tin-like" because of its relation to German zinn meaning tin.[74] Yet another possibility is that the word is derived from the Persian word سنگ seng meaning stone.[75]

Zion (Hebrew: צִיּוֹן Ṣīyyōn, LXX Σιών, also variously transliterated Sion,[1] Tzion, Tsion, Tsiyyon)[2] is a placename in the Hebrew Bible used as a synonym for Jerusalem[3][4] as well as for the Land of Israel as a whole (see Names of Jerusalem).
The name is found in 2 Samuel (5:7), one of the books of the Hebrew Bible dated to before or close to the mid-6th century BCE. It originally referred to a specific hill in Jerusalem (Mount Zion), located to the south of Mount Moriah (the Temple Mount). According to the narrative of 2 Samuel 5, Mount Zion held the Jebusite fortress of the same name that was conquered by David and was renamed the City of David. That specific hill ("mount") is one of the many squat hills that form Jerusalem, which also includes Mount Moriah (the Temple Mount), the Mount of Olives, etc. Over many centuries, until as recently as the Ottoman era, the city walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt many times in new locations, so that the particular hill known as Mount Zion is no longer inside the city wall, but its location is now just outside the portion of the Old City wall forming the southern boundary of the Jewish Quarter of the current Old City. Most of the original City of David itself is thus also outside the current city wall.
The term Tzion came to designate the area of Davidic Jerusalem where the fortress stood, and was used as well as synecdoche for the entire city of Jerusalem; and later, when Solomon's Temple was built on the adjacent Mount Moriah (which, as a result, came to be known as the Temple Mount) the meanings of the term Tzion were further extended by synecdoche to the additional meanings of the Temple itself, the hill upon which the Temple stood, the entire city of Jerusalem, the entire biblical Land of Israel, and "the World to Come", the Jewish understanding of the afterlife.
The world to come, age to come, heaven on Earth, and the Kingdom of God are eschatological phrases reflecting the belief that the current world or current age is flawed or cursed and will be replaced in the future by a better world, age, or paradise.
The concept is related to but differs from the concepts of heaven or the afterlife in that heaven is another place or state of existence generally seen as above the world, and the afterlife is generally an individual's continued existence after death.[citation needed]
The following section reviews religions chronologically by date of the composition of various religious texts, from oldest to most recent, although the chronology of ancient religions is not known with certainty. Later dates are more certain than earlier dates.
In Zoroastrian eschatology, the world to come is the frashokereti, where the saoshyant will bring about a resurrection of the dead in the bodies they had before they died. This is followed by a last judgment. The yazatas Airyaman and Atar will melt the metal in the hills and mountains, and the molten metal will then flow across the earth like a river. All humankind—both the living and the resurrected dead—will be required to wade through that river, but for the righteous (ashavan) it will seem to be a river of warm milk, while the wicked will be burned. The river will then flow down to hell, where it will annihilate Angra Mainyu and the last vestiges of wickedness in the universe. The saoshyant is first mentioned as a savior in the Yashts written around 625 and 225 BCE [1]

According to the Talmud, any non-Jew who lives according to the Seven Laws of Noah is regarded as a Ger toshav (righteous gentile), and is assured of a place in the world to come, the final reward of the righteous.[6][7]
There is much Aggadic material relating to this topic. Much of this has been collected in popular form in Legends of the Jews, by Louis Ginzberg; see particularly its first chapter [8] discussing esoteric and mystical concepts such as Paradise, and the "higher" Gan Eden.
Ger toshav (Hebrew: גר תושב, ger: "foreigner" or "alien" + toshav: "resident", lit. "resident alien")[1][2][3][4] is a halakhic term used in Judaism to designate the legal status of a Gentile (non-Jew) living in the Land of Israel who does not want to convert to Judaism but agrees to observe the Seven Laws of Noah,[1][2][4][5] a set of imperatives which, according to the Talmud, were given by God as a binding set of universal moral laws for the "sons of Noah"—that is, all of humanity.[5][6][7][8][9] A ger toshav is therefore commonly deemed a "Righteous Gentile" (Hebrew: חסיד אומות העולם, Chassid Umot ha-Olam: "Pious People of the World"),[7][9][10][11][12] and is assured of a place in the World to Come (Olam Ha-Ba).[7][9][11][12]
