トラス政権、不支持率77％ 過去11年で最悪＝世論調査

[ロンドン １８日 ロイター] - 英調査会社ユーガブが実施した英政府への支持率調査によると、トラス政権への不支持が７７％に達し、調査開始以降過去１１年間で最悪の水準となった。
トラス首相は就任に伴い大型減税を柱とする経済対策を打ち出したが、財源の明確な裏打ちもなく、金融市場には動揺が走った。トラス首相は責任を明確にする形で財務相だったクワーテング氏を解任。その後財務相に就任したハント氏は大型減税案の大部分を撤回するとともに、エネルギー料金負担支援措置も縮小するなど、財政政策を大幅に軌道修正した。
