トルコ大統領の息子、ビラル・エルドアンとイスラム国の原油密輸ビジネスの最終顧客

Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan, (born 23 April 1981) is the third child of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the current President of Turkey.

Necmettin Bilal was born on 23 April 1981,[1] the third child of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Emine Erdoğan. He has three siblings: Ahmet Burak, Sümeyye and Esra. After finishing secondary school at Kartal Anadolu Lisesi in 1999, Erdoğan moved to the US for undergraduate education. He also earned a master's degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 2004.

After graduation, he served at the World Bank as an intern for a while.[2] He returned Turkey in 2006 and started to his business life. Erdoğan is one of the three equal shareholders of BMZ Group Denizcilik ve İnşaat Sanayi Anonim Şirketi, a marine transportation corporation.[3][4]
He is also on the governing board of Türkiye Gençlik ve Eğitime Hizmet Vakfı (TÜRGEV), an education and youth foundation.[5]

Erdoğan married Reyvan Uzuner in 2003.[6] The couple have two sons Ömer Tayyip and Ali Tahir.
In October 2015, Today's Zaman reported that Erdoğan and his family had moved to Bologna, Italy, after his father's AK Party lost its parliamentary majority in June. It is stated that he will finish his PhD at The Johns Hopkins University SAIS Bologna Center there, but that all he has to do is complete his thesis, which does not require his permanent presence in Bologna, but does enable him to obtain a two-year residence permit.[7]

Assertion of aiding ISIS by transporting stolen crude oil

Reports have surfaced in November 2015 indicating that BMZ Ltd (Bilal's maritime company) is or has been performing oil trades for the Islamic terrorist group commonly known in the west as "ISIS" or "ISIL". BMZ, an Erdogan family business, misused public funds and took illegal loans from Turkish banks. Specifically, it has been claimed that Bilal or BMZ has contracts with European companies to transport stolen Iraqi oil to several Asian countries. According to these reports, the Turkish government buys the Iraqi oil produced from oil wells seized by ISIS forces and, using docks in Beirut and Ceyhan, this oil is smuggled in oil tankers bound for Japan.[12]

BMZ Group is a Turkish shipping company.
It is owned by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's son Bilal Erdoğan and other family members,[1] Mustafa Erdoğan and Ziya İlgen.[2]

In September 2015, it was reported in Today's Zaman that BMZ had purchsed two tankers, Armada Fair and Türkter 82, for US$ 36 million, increasing their fleet to five tankers, all of which are 140m long, 16m wide, with a 7100 deadweight tonnage (DWT) capacity.[2][1]
