原発事故後の子どもの甲状腺がん 医師が無料電話相談

東京電力福島第一原発事故のあと、甲状腺がんと診断された子どもの支援を行っている民間基金が、医師による無料の電話相談を行っていて、就職で福島県外に出た子どもの経済的支援などについて、相談が寄せられています。
電話相談を行っているのは、民間の基金「3・11甲状腺がん子ども基金」で、16日午前10時から、都内の事務所で４人の医師が相談に応じています。
原発事故のあと、福島県が事故当時、18歳以下の子どもを対象に行っている甲状腺検査では、３巡目までの検査で202人ががんやがんの疑いと診断されています。
基金によりますと、震災から７年がたち、就職で親元を離れたあと、がんを再発するケースも出ているということです。
午前中は、手術のあと、微熱が続いていて不安だという相談のほか、就職で福島県外に出た子どもが検査のために、福島に戻る際、交通費の負担が重いなどの相談が寄せられていました。
基金の脇ゆうりか事務局長は「進学や就職などで事故当時と環境が変わっている人たちも多い。悩んでいることを気軽に相談してほしい」と話していました。
基金では、がんと診断された患者に１人当たり10万円の療養費の支援を行っていて、16日の電話相談は、午後４時まで受け付けています。
