Banker in Olympus Controversy Meets With FBI

The banker at the center of the controversy that has engulfed Japan's Olympus Corp. has met with the Federal Bureau of Investigation about the matter, people familiar with the situation said.
Hajime Sagawa—a former Wall Street banker whose company, Axes America LLC, was one of two firms that allegedly collected an unusually large fee for advising Olympus on an acquisition—spoke with FBI investigators in New York in person in recent days, the people familiar with the matter said.
