欧州議会のサッソリ議長が死去 深刻な病気で入院中
【ブリュッセル共同】欧州連合（EU）欧州議会のサッソリ議長の報道官は11日、サッソリ氏が同日イタリアで死去したとツイッターで明らかにした。報道官は10日、同氏が深刻な病気のため昨年12月26日からイタリアで入院し、公務も全てとりやめたと明らかにしていた。
報道官は10日の声明で「免疫系の機能不全による深刻な合併症のため、入院が必要になった」と説明していた。
