'Difficult to believe': The Associated Press is slammed for saying it was unaware of Hamas intel operation in their building that Israel razed to the ground: Report from 2014 claims they knew terrorists were there

• A building housing the Gaza bureau of The Associated Press and Al Jazeera was bombed by the Israeli Defense Force on Saturday
• The IDF said the building was a legitimate target because Hamas maintained a  military presence there, and gave journalists a one-hour warning to get out
• The Associated Press CEO Gary Pruitt condemned the bombing and claimed not to have known Hamas was in the building
• But in a newly-unearthed 2014 report, journalist Matti Freidman wrote that Hamas' presence was common knowledge
• 'The AP staff in Gaza City would witness a rocket launch right beside their office, endangering reporters and other civilians nearby'
• 'Hamas fighters would burst into the AP's Gaza bureau and threaten the staff—and the AP wouldn't report it'
• Fighting intensified on Sunday  with 42 Palestinians killed in raids on Gaza, as PM Benjamin Netanyahu vowed the military operation would continue 'at full force'
• Israel claims it shared 'smoking gun' evidence Hamas operated in the building with the US in a call Saturday
