Reward for Nashville bomber reaches $315,000 after 'The Profit' host and businessman Marcus Lemonis offers $250,000 for information
- 'The Profit' host Marcus Lemonis has pledged $250k to the reward fund for information on the Nashville bombing
- He followed pledges from the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp., FOX Sports host Clay Travis, and Lewis Country Store
- The reward total now stands at $315k, as of Friday night
- Three people hospitalized after being caught in the blast are said to be stable
- Cops have revealed no further information on the bomb that exploded at 6.40am from an RV playing a strange countdown message on repeat
- The FBI is hunting for a suspect and a motive as the city's mayor puts a curfew in place around the bombsite until Sunday afternoon
- 'We can't have our streets terrorized like this,' Lemonis wrote of the bombing
Marcus Anthony Lemonis (born November 16, 1973) is a Lebanese-born American businessman, television personality, philanthropist and politician. He is currently the chairman and CEO of Camping World, Good Sam Enterprises, Gander Outdoors and The House Boardshop, in addition to being the star of The Profit, a CNBC reality show about saving small businesses.
Lemonis, named Ricardo, was born to parents Abdallel (from Lebanon) and Nadia (from Baniyas, Syria) in Beirut, Lebanon, during the chaos of civil war and foreign invasions. He was abandoned at an orphanage 4 days after his birth.[1] He was adopted during his infancy on July 29, 1974 by Leo and Sophia Lemonis, a couple living in Miami, Florida.[2] His adoptive father was Greek, and his adoptive mother was Lebanese.
Lemonis was exposed to the automotive industry throughout his upbringing, his great uncle, Anthony Abraham owning two of the largest Chevrolet dealerships in the United States and Lee Iacocca serving as a family friend and later mentor and financial investor to Marcus, loaning him millions to start a recreational vehicle business. Lemonis graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in 1991, he went on and earned a bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in criminology from Marquette University in Milwaukee in 1995, and unsuccessfully ran as a Democrat for a seat in the Florida House of Representatives shortly after his graduation,[3] whereupon he refocused his career on the automotive industry.

Lemonis does not get paid by the production company, Machete Productions, nor do they help fund his investments.[7] Occasional promotions for AT&T, Chase, and LegalZoom have appeared.
A 2017 spin-off, The Partner, featured Lemonis searching for a business partner to help run businesses featured in The Profit.[8]
A special titled "The Profit in Cuba" aired on November 15, 2016; it featured Lemonis travelling to Cuba to explore new business opportunities in the country.[9] It was watched by 478,000 viewers.[10] Other specials looked at Puerto Rico, and both the legal and illegal marijuana industries in California. Another special was titled "Top 10 Rules for Success".
On April 3, 2019, it was announced that a 90-minute original documentary titled The Profit: My Roots will air on April 9, 2019.[11]
