ハンガリーの首都ブダペストを流れるドナウ川で29日午後10時ごろ、観光船が別の船に衝突され、転覆した。地元メディアによると、これまでに観光船の乗客ら7人が死亡、19人が行方不明になっている。

報道によると、事故時には観光船に33人が乗っており、ほとんどが韓国人だという。観光船は停泊中に、別の船に衝突された模様。

韓国外務省は、韓国人19人が行方不明になっていて、複数の職員を現地に派遣する予定だと述べた。

観光船の船名はHableany（「人魚」の意味）。2階まであり、定員は45人だという。

ドナウ川は同国の人気観光地の1つ。このところの大雨で水量が増し、流れも急になっていた。

30日も現場付近から数キロ下流にかけ、ダイバーなどが出動し、行方不明者の捜索を続けている。救助関係者は、時間が経過するほど乗客は下流に流され、発見の確率が下がると話している。
