Mom of teenage Gap model, 19, who killed himself after 'suffering a head wound during booze-fueled hazing ceremony' is suing his former USC fraternity

Gap model Alasdair Russell, 19, killed himself on a Miami beach in April 2017
A suit filed by the University of Southern California student's mother alleges his death was a result of an accident at a Phi Kappa Psi party the previous October
According to the suit, Russell was encouraged by members to drink excessively to the point that he fell off a platform and was knocked unconscious
The next day he experienced concussion symptoms but was urged not to seek medical attention as it would draw attention to the party
He was allegedly given Adderall and cocaine to cope with the symptoms
Over the next few months Russell's personality began to change and he had to pull out of school and be committed to a psychiatric facility in January 2017
He was found dead just two weeks before he was set to scale Mount Everest
His mother Kathleen Russell is now suing Phi Kappa Psi for negligence with regard to drinking, partying and pledge hazing
