Obama's Justice Department gave Russian lawyer special permission to enter the US without a visa months before her meeting with Donald Trump Jr

Natalia Veselnitskaya is the lawyer at the center of the latest revelations about possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign
In late 2015, she was granted special permission by then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch to enter the United States even though she didn't have a visa
In June 2016, she met at Trump Tower with Donald Trump Jr, campaign chair Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner
The meeting was arranged with the apparent promise that she would provide dirt on Hillary Clinton, Trump's opponent in the race
Six months before the meeting, Veselnitskaya was strip-searched and detained at London's Heathrow Airport
She was on her way to the United States to represent a Russian businessman who was on trial
