- 祖父母・両親とも沖縄出身の日本人だがアメリカ国籍を持つ日系人。幼い容姿をしており（背丈のサイズは天王寺綯と同じくらい）アメリカでも日本でも子供に間違えられる。「射影曲面のエピタキシー」では日本に帰ったまま、アメリカに帰ってこない紅莉栖を一時的に訪ねに来た。
- 紅莉栖に対しては非常に複雑な感情を抱いており、無二の親友のように思いつつも紅莉栖の才能に劣等感を抱いている。紅莉栖をアマデウスに例え、自分はサリエリだと考えている。

- 岡部の通う大学が主催するカンファレンスにおいて、レスキネン教授の助手（兼・通訳）として来日する。「テスター」となった岡部に「アマデウスに対して過剰な思い入れをしないように」と忠告しているが、何度か接触するうちラボメンたちとも交流を持つようになる。
- その後、カンファレンス日程終了と共に帰国していたが、鈴羽とダルの説得に（最初は渋っていたが熟慮の果てに）応じ再度来日、電話レンジの修理に取り掛かる。いつしか岡部に対して好意を持つようになるが紅莉栖やレイエスに勘繰られた時は必死に否定する。幼児属性をもつダルに「真帆たん」と呼ばれると「たん付けはやめろ！」と即答する。いつも左右に違うサンダルを履いている。
- 未来から連続タイムリープしてきて復活した鳳凰院凶真からは、「ロリっ子」「ジョセフィーヌ」というあだ名を付けられている。
