音楽プロデューサーの小室哲哉(58)が28日からの天皇、皇后両陛下のベトナム訪問に伴い、訪越することが24日、発表された。

音楽を通じた日本とベトナムの架け橋として、歓迎晩餐会にて両陛下、ベトナム側の要人らを前に、現地のもう学校の子供たちと両国の楽曲をピアノ演奏する。

小室は、15年12月にNHKとベトナム国営放送との共同制作番組でベトナム・ハノイを訪問。グエン・ディエン・チエウ盲学校の子供たちと音楽を通じて触れ合った。その縁で、日越・越日特別大使を務める歌手で俳優の杉良太郎(72)を通じてベトナム政府から依頼を受けたという。今回もグエン・ディエン・チエウ盲学校を再訪する予定だ。

杉も訪越し、天皇、皇后両陛下が出席する大使主催のレセプションに同席する。

ベトナムで終戦を迎え、その後も現地に残った旧日本軍の兵士、「残留日本兵」の子どもたちが来月、父親の祖国を一目見ようと、来日することになりました。
来日するのは、終戦をベトナムで迎え、その後も現地に残ってフランスとの独立戦争に加わるなどした「残留日本兵」の子どもたち13人です。

「残留日本兵」の多くは現地の女性と結婚し家庭を築きましたが、1950年代に入り、ベトナムと中国共産党との関係が深まる中、政府によって半ば強制的に日本に帰国させられ、多くの家族が生き別れになりました。

ベトナムに残った妻や子どもたちは経済的に苦しく、周囲から差別を受けるなど厳しい生活を送ってきました。

こうした事実は戦後、ほとんど知られていませんでしたが、ことし3月、天皇皇后両陛下との面会が実現したことで広く知られるようになりました。

その後「父親の祖国を訪れたい」という子どもたちの思いを実現しようと、日本の財団などが協力し、来日することが決まったということです。

子どもたちは来月18日から24日まで7日間の予定で東京や大阪を訪れて父親のことを知っている関係者などと面会するほか、父親の生まれ故郷を訪問することについても調整が行われているということです。
幼いころに父親と生き別れたグエン・ヴァン・フィさんは、「父の祖国である日本を見たことがないので日本に行くのをとても楽しみにしています」と話していました。

また、ことし3月に、天皇皇后両陛下に面会した93歳の母親のスアンさんは体調が悪化して現在は入院中で、日本に行くことは難しいということです。

フィさんは、「父はもう亡くなりましたが、父の祖国には行かなければいけないと思っています。母親の代わりに日本に行き、父が生まれ育った場所がどのような所なのか知りたいです」と来日に向けた思いを語っていました。

良いとか悪いとか酷いとかしょうがないとかそういうくだらない次元ではなくて
歴史も含めて、できごとの伝え方は、伝える側の意図によって
いくらでも濃淡がつけられるのです
ですから、この案件もそうですが、美談としての側面だけをクローズアップして理解をすすめていくと
非常におかしなことになっていくわけでして
日中戦争から鬼畜とたとえた英米との衝突に発展していく大きな転換点になったことを軽んじてしまいます

錯覚と現実の区別を難しくさせる典型例のひとつです

ささげました。

日本を訪れているのは、ベトナムで終戦を迎え、その後も現地に残ってフランスとの独立戦争に加わるなどした「残留日本兵」の子ども13人です。

一行は20日、東京・青梅市にある寺を訪れ、残留日本兵の一人で5年前に亡くなった加茂徳治さんの墓参りをしました。
加茂さんの長男のファン・ホン・チャウさん(67)は「何も親孝行できずごめんなさい。生んでくれてありがとう」と涙を流しながら祈りをささげました。

残留日本兵の多くはベトナムで結婚し家庭を築きましたが、1950年代に政治状況が変化する中で帰国を余儀なくされ、多くの家族が生き別れとなりました。

今回訪れた一行の中には父親の消息が分からないなどさまざまな事情で墓参りがかなわない人もいて、20日は全員が加茂さんの墓に線香を供えてそれぞれの父親をしのんでい

ました。

加茂さんの長男のチャウさんは「墓参りができたうれしさと父の死を知った悲しさが入り交じった気持ちです。もっと早く会いに来ればよかったです」と話していました。

一行は今後、残留日本兵の多くが帰還した京都の舞鶴港を訪れるなどして24日に帰国することになっています。

ベトナム 枯れ葉剤被害者に日本政府が支援

ベトナム戦争中にアメリカ軍が散布した枯れ葉剤で、健康被害を受けた人たちへの治療や職業訓練などを行っている団体に、日本政府が支援を始めることになり、5日、署名式が行われました。
ベトナムでは1961年以降、ベトナム戦争中にアメリカ軍が散布した大量の枯れ葉剤の影響で、300万人を超える人たちがさまざまな健康被害に苦しんでいます。

こうした被害者に対して、病気の治療や職業訓練などを行っているベトナムのNGO団体に日本政府が支援を始めることになり、5日、ベトナムの首都ハノイにある日本大使館の大使公邸で署名式が行われました。

この中で、梅田邦夫大使は「ベトナム戦争から40年以上がたっても多くの人が後遺症に苦しんでいることに大変心が痛みます。今回の支援が少しでも役に立つことを期待しています」とあいさつしました。

これに対して、団体のグエン・ヴァン・リン会長は「これまで日本の民間の方々から支援をいただいてきたが、今後、日本政府も加わることで、さらに支援の輪が広がってほしい」と訴えました。

WHO=世界保健機関によりますと、枯れ葉剤による被害は戦争を経験した世代だけでなく、子や孫、さらにひ孫にまで、視覚や聴覚など、さまざまな障害が確認されていて、そうした子どもの数は15万人に上っているということです。

支援団体では、日本の支援をもとに治療や職業訓練のための機材などを整備し、被害者の自立支援に役立てていきたいとしています。

非常にザラザラした緊張関係を象徴する佛印をめぐる日米關係がございましたが、ご訪問にあわせて、そのあたりの微妙で激烈な軋轢についての「再啓蒙」は、宮内庁サイドや凡ての御用メディアから発せられたでしょうか?

残留日本兵がベトナムの独立に寄与したという点を強調して、そこに天皇陛下が改めて光を当てた、すばらしい啓蒙者としてのキラキラ美談として歴史に残したいのは理解できなくもないが、仏印をめぐる大日本帝国の野望の顛末についてトーンを落としたまま語られていくことは納得しない
