Sudden Death 布袋寅泰・HISASHIらのギター製作、ゾディアックワークス代表・松崎淳さん出張先の福岡で急死

 　布袋寅泰やGLAY・HISASHIらのギターを製作する「ゾディアックワークス（ZODIACWORKS）」の代表・松崎淳さん（崎＝たつさき）が6日、出張先の福岡で亡くなった。7日、同社のツイッターで発表された。

　　ツイッターに掲載された文書では「（株）ゾディアックワークス代表 故 松崎 淳 儀　令和4年2月6日に永眠致しました。ここに生前のご厚誼を深謝し謹んでご通知申し上げます。葬儀につきましては、福岡出張中の不幸により出棺のみとさせていただきます。尚、お別れ会につきましては、後日改めてお知らせさせていただきます」と発表。しばらくの間、すべての業務を停止するとしている。

Tony Zemaitis (1935 – 17 August 2002) was a British luthier from London. He is mostly known for his "metal top" electric guitars,^[1][2] which were used by some notable rock musicians of that era.

Under the leadership of his son Tony Zemaitis, Jr., Zemaitis Guitars company continued this guitar-making style after the luthier's death in 2002.

Zemaitis retired in 2000 and died two years later. Zemaitis Guitars of Tokyo, Japan, has continued the Zemaitis guitar-making style. Led by Tony Zemaitis, Jr., the company has continued to employ O'Brien as an engraver.

In 2007, American economist-turned-fraudster Al Parish bought an acoustic guitar owned by George Harrison and made by Zemaitis for $150,000.^[4]

Zemaitis Guitar is a guitar brand owned by Japanese Kanda Shokai Corporation,^[2] which manufactures the instruments in Tokyo. Kanda Shokai is also owner of Greco, another guitar brand.
