First among equals? Trump inks his name at the TOP of D-Day remembrance proclamation while the other 15 world leaders sign at the bottom

Proclamation signed in Portsmouth, UK on Wednesday declared 16 nations' resolve to stop future world wars
President Donald Trump was among the world leaders to ink his name
But his stood out because he signed at the top of the document instead of at the bottom
That left his angular John Hancock standing out from those of Theresa May, Angela Merkel, Emmanuel Macron and a dozen others

Co-signers with Trump included outgoing British Prime Minister Theresa May, French President Emmanuel Macron, interim Prime Minister of Belgium Charles Michel, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

Their counterparts from Slovakia, Poland, Luxembourg, Norway, the Czech Republic, Australia, Denmark, New Zealand and Greece also took part.

'We stand together today to honour the memory of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice on D-Day, and those many millions of men and women who lost their lives during the Second World War, the largest conflict in human history,' it reads.

'We affirm that it is our shared responsibility to ensure that the unimaginable horror of these years is never repeated.'

The signers pledged to 'act resolutely, with courage and tenacity, to protect our people against threats to our values and challenges to peace and stability.'
