［２１日 ロイター］ ２１日付のインド紙、タイムズ・オブ・インディアが警察の話として伝えたところによると、オリンパス(7733.T: 株価, ニュース, レポート)のインド医療事業部の幹部がニューデリー郊外の公園で死亡しているのが発見された。自殺とみられている。
同紙によると、オリンパスのインド医療事業部の代表取締役社長大森力氏（４９歳）が、ニューデリー郊外グルガオンの集合住宅内にある公園で首をつっているのを庭師が発見した。
同紙によると、警察は日本語で書かれた家族宛ての遺書１通と、「迷惑をおかけして申し訳ありません」と書かれた１通の遺書を発見した。

Japanese commits ‘suicide’ in Gurgaon
A Japanese national committed suicide after hanging himself from the iron grills of the garden of his apartment in Sushant Lok, sector 56, in Gurgaon.
Police said that Tsutomi Amori (49) was found hanging by the gardener of Ikon Apartments and a suicide note has been recovered. Amori stated that he was ashamed of his acts and wanted to end his life and no one else was responsible for this. Employed at an MNC on MG Road as Managing Director, Amori’s family stays at Japan.
“We are investigating the matter and trying to find out the reason why he had taken such an extreme step. We have informed his family members and are taking help from the Japanese embassy,” said a senior police officer.
The incident came to light on Monday at around 10 am when Rajkumar (27), gardener of the Ikon Apartment, found a body hanging with a towel and steel wire at iron grills of the garden. He raised an alarm and informed about the incident to residents who then informed the police.
Amori was resident at flat number 383 which was leased by his company in Ikon Apartment in Sector-56 and had been working as MD in Olympus Medical Systems India Private Limited for the last three years. “He was living alone in his flat and was very friendly and had no personal enmity with anyone. He used to return late nights,” said Naresh Gupta, a resident of Ikon Apartment.
“In preliminary investigation, it was found that he was mentally unstable. Police are investigating the case and are questioning his neighbours and also people at his office. The postmortem was conducted at city’s civil hospital,” police official said.
“We are investigating the case from all angles and are urging the overseas nationals to have faith on police. If they have any problem, they can inform and take help of police. In a suicide note, it was written that he is responsible for his death and ashamed of his steps. We are waiting for the postmortem report,” said Maheshwar Dayal (DCP) East Gurgaon.

会長職には、主力取引銀行の三井住友銀行出身者を招く方向だ。
